Core Beliefs

Pro-Constitution

Words can’t fully describe the genius of the Constitution. This document is totally unprecedented in its imagination and scope. Never before has a nation embarked on such a monumental task of conceiving a document that would later become the envy of the world.

I believe in the supremacy of the Constitution and in upholding its original intent.

The Constitution is a contract with the American people that clearly defines and limits the role of government. The government exists to serve the people and to protect the rights of those it serves.

Pro-Life

The right to life is a fundamental God-given right that cannot be merely done away with at the hands of a radical supreme court. Abortion is an evil that has corrupted our nation and continues to desensitize the country to issues related to life and death.

The unborn child’s God-given right to life must be protected and upheld.

President Ronald Reagan said it best: I’ve noticed that everybody that is for abortion has already been born.

Pro-Marriage

Marriage is an institution that is fundamental to the success and strength of our communities, and ultimately our country. I believe that the basic concept of marriage must not be redefined. Marriage has been a key source for a strong and prosperous family environment.

I believe that marriage must continue to be defined as an institution between one man and one woman.

We must not allow a minority, obsessed with receiving special treatment, to influence the government to intrude on our private and religious rights. Government must not be allowed to overstep its role and redefine the will of the majority.

Pro-Second Amendment

The right to bear arms is fundamental to the defense of the American people from enemies foreign and domestic. The Second Amendment not only serves as a defense against crime, but also as an ultimate check against government, should it become tyrannical.

I fully support the right of law-abiding Americans to own and carry guns.

I oppose gun control laws that would hinder the ability of the American people to defend themselves. Gun control laws undermine the Constitution and our rights.

Pro- Lower Taxes

Taxes are essential to the operation of government. They are needed to provide public safety, infrastructure improvement, and many other services that provide for the common good. However, taxes must not be used to expand the power and influence of government over the rights and freedoms of its citizens.

Taxes should be low so that citizens can control their financial destiny, and to prevent the expansion of the government into areas not clearly defined in the constitution.

When individuals and businesses are lightly taxed, they have more money to put back into the economy. When more money is placed in the economy by citizens, private businesses will expand their operation in order to receive more profit, thus creating more jobs and fostering innovation.

Taxes are directly related to the size of government. The more money a government receives the more it wishes to expand its budget and bureaucratic control over the lives of its citizens. Government has a natural inclination to spend well beyond its means. It’s important that we elect people who will limit government growth and protect the rights of tax payers.
